Senior Instrument Engineer, multiple locations
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing documents and drawings, mapping, and identifying scope in the FEED phase.
- Preparing design documentation for estimation, planning, and procurement during FEED and execution phases.
- Communicating and presenting work during the FEED phase.
- Updating drawing documentation.
- Preparing work packages for installation.
- Ordering and following up on necessary materials, including package procurement and bulk materials.
- Taking full responsibility for all instrument deliveries in a project.
- Conducting site surveys.
Desired qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary oil and gas projects, with responsibility for instrumentation, preferably in modification projects.
- Strong collaboration skills and a solid understanding of the interaction and complexity in modification projects.
- Field instrumentation experience: From defining equipment requirements, preparing technical documentation, taking technical responsibility for purchasing, and performing quality checks on documentation and equipment.
- Experience in preparing design documentation, conducting site surveys, evaluating equipment types and suppliers, assessing installation methods, and developing installation documentation. In-depth knowledge of relevant directives and harmonized standards (e.g., ATEX), as well as international standards such as IEC.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Technical college diploma with 9 years of relevant engineering experience.
Preferred tool experience:
- MS Visio
- MS Office
Required courses:
- Ex Basic training.
- Exi Basic or Exi for design personnel if tasks involve intrinsically safe circuits.
Work schedule:
Standard workweek, 5/2 rotation.
