About the technology:
WindSpider is unique in the way it utilizes the wind turbine tower as support for the crane structure making it scalable, modular, and ready for the next generations of wind turbines.
We are a group of highly skilled and experienced individuals within the offshore industry. Since entering the market, WindSpider has received very good feedback and an increasingly growing interest from several major international wind industry players.
We have now initiated the first phase of building our first full-scale WindSpider system and are looking for qualified, motivated, and experienced personnel.
Lead Control Systems Engineer position overview:
This is a full-time position based at our modern offices in Forus, Stavanger.
As Lead Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and follow-up of our control system. You will oversee the work done by external suppliers while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Your role is pivotal in developing and maintaining control, automation, and electrical systems that support WindSpider’s cutting-edge offshore lifting solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop advanced solutions for offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and scalability of the WindSpider Technology.

Lead Control Systems Engineer position requirements:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled engineer with a “can-do” attitude and a team-player mindset. The right candidate should have:
- Expertise in automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Experience in developing and following up on control systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to write clear and structured technical reports.
- Experience with crane and lifting operations is a plus.
- Fluent English skills; Norwegian is an advantage.
